Vitreous enamel is made by fusing coloured glass that has been carefully ground into tiny grains and washed several times. This is then fired onto metal using a kiln, usually between 750 and 850 °C.  Please note these are individually fired in the kiln and colours can be slightly different each time. All unique and made with a huge amount of love :)

How to care for your Enamel Hearts.

These are silver with glass fused onto them, so they are not ideal to drop onto hard surfaces as they can chip. For example, it’s not advised to put your necklace on over a sink or among other jewellery in a jewellery box. Basically, treat them like glass. When not wearing, keep them safe in the box provided :)
